Inauguration Ceremony – NSU Cybersecurity Center Inauguration
North South University officially inaugurated the NSU Cybersecurity Center (NSUCSC), marking a significant milestone in advancing cybersecurity education, innovation, and digital resilience in Bangladesh. The ceremony brought together distinguished guests, government officials, academic leaders, industry partners, faculty members, students, and cybersecurity professionals to celebrate the launch of the Center.
The inauguration was honored by the presence of Mr. Rehan Asif Asad, Advisor to the Honorable Prime Minister, Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, and Ministry of Science and Technology, who attended as the Honorable Chief Guest. The event also featured remarks from University leadership and project partners, highlighting the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening Bangladesh’s cybersecurity ecosystem.
Established with the support of the APAC Cybersecurity Fund of The Asia Foundation, in partnership with the CyberPeace Institute and the Global Cyber Alliance, with support from Google.org, the NSU Cybersecurity Center aims to provide world-class cybersecurity education, hands-on training, research opportunities, and industry collaboration. The inauguration marks the beginning of a long-term commitment to developing skilled cybersecurity professionals and fostering innovation to build a safer digital future.
